Some fear backlash against Muslims in US military

Some Muslim servicemembers are worried that the mass shooting at Fort Hood could unravel their work to be accepted as loyal, dedicated soldiers.

Witnesses have told investigators that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan shouted "Allahu akbar!" - the phrase that means "God is great!" in Arabic - before opening fire in a rampage that left 13 soldiers dead. While a motive in the attack isn't clear, Hasan had complained to family members of discrimination.

Many Muslims who serve in the military say they are accepted by their comrades. But Army Chief of Staff George Casey said this week he worries about backlash.


Backlash ?? Hell YES ! All ragheads should go home now. You have opened a can of worms. Don`t whine and piss and moan about it ... just go while you can.

Dear Bad Guys...

In the first half of this year, the Concealed Handgun Licensing Bureau at the Texas Department of Public Safety handled an average of 12,700 applications a month compared to 8,700 during the same period in 2008, a 46 percent increase.

A good percentage of those applicants are from West Texas, particularly from Lubbock and Randall counties. Potter County, which has roughly the same population as Randall County, has a significantly lower number of residents with concealed-gun licenses.

Concealed guns in West Texas

• Since the early days of the Wild West in the 19th century, guns have been an integral part of the Texas culture. Yet, it wasn't until the mid-1990s when the Legislature approved- and Gov. George W. Bush signed into law - a bill that allows any Texan over 21 and with no criminal record to carry a concealed weapon. In West Texas, the percentage of residents who already have a license is higher than the state average. These are some of the numbers as of March 17.

• Although compared to the state as a whole, West Texas has a higher than average percentage of concealed handgun license holders, the Houston-Galveston-Beaumont area has the highest number and percentage.

Iranian Solution

Are you sick to death of the MSM saturating the news with the fallout from the Iranian elections ? I am.
I have a solution, (see picture below), this would work in Korea too. But alas, we don`t have anyone in power with the guts or IQ to push the button.

I am SO tired of the political drama nowdays... I`ve even thought of changing the venue of this blog. There are so many gullible people in America today, I have serious doubts that we can make a difference in the playing field.

O K, what has Obama done for you so far ? Remember, he said he was all about change.
If you are waiting for your economic stimulis check ... you might be waiting awhile. His plan will pump $$$$$ into big construction companies and state agencies.
According to the media, we lost close to 100,000 jobs in the last 2 weeks ( be sure to consider the trickle down effect here ). Change indeed.
He has already started talking about cutting military spending ( in times like these ). Change indeed.

I say, the system caters to the bleeding heart liberals. Otherwise, these men never would have been subjected to the injustices they have endured .

War is Hell, and then

there are people that are just plain Stupid.

Bet you didn`t even know Israel had a navy. I never thought much about it, all you ever hear about is their air force. Guess again...
I ripped this from CNN, just so I could be " fair ".

CNN) -- An Israeli patrol boat struck a boat carrying medical volunteers and supplies to Gaza early Tuesday as it attempted to intercept the vessel in the Mediterranean Sea, witnesses and Israeli officials said.

CNN correspondent Karl Penhaul was aboard the 60-foot pleasure boat Dignity when the contact occurred. When the boat later docked in the Lebanese port city of Tyre, severe damage was visible to the forward port side of the boat, and the front left window and part of the roof had collapsed. It was flying the flag of Gibraltar.
The Dignity was carrying crew and 16 passengers -- physicians from Britain, Germany and Cyprus and human rights activists from the Free Gaza Solidarity Movement -- who were trying to reach Gaza through an Israeli blockade of the territory.
Also on board was former U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney.

As far as Mrs. McKinney goes, I hace a sign at my restaurant : I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. It does not matter Who you are, OR Who you think you are, OR Who your Daddy is.

Oh No, they " rammed " a boat that was trying to run their blockade.

What does blockade mean ? It means - You can`t go through here.

The " humanitarian vessel " knew they were trying to enter a War Zone. They refused to stop. They were " rammed " 3 times.

Try refusing to stop for a Texas Dept. of Public Safety officer....

Simply, Isreal had every right to stop the other vessel. They were lucky they were not fired upon ! Aid comes After the war is over, NOT during.

Like I always say : If you are the friend of my enemy, you are my enemy.

Goodbye Palestine

Does this picture make any sense to you ? I mean really, what does this guy hope to accomplish ?

Hamas continues to throw rocks and roll burning tires at Israel. AND fire RPGs and missles at innocent women and children.

Israel has finally had enough, and I think, taking the right steps to eliminate the scum of Hamas from their country. That`s right, THEIR country.

Maybe the US could take lessons on how to handle a group that deals us death and misery from within our own borders, ( drug dealers, gangs, corrupt politicians and CEOs, illegal aliens, etc ).

I think it very stupid for someone to think they can win any kind of conflict by covering their face and blowing themselves and some innocent women and children up. Or by launching mortars against someone that has the worlds 4th largest air force.

If GOD gave that land to the Palestines, you sure couldn`t tell it by the way things are turning out.

I have a feeling this map will change quite alot in the near future.
